General information
The following notes provide an overview of what happens to your personal data when you visit this website. Personal data is any data that can be used to identify you personally.
Hosting
This website is hosted by an external service provider (Vercel Inc., USA). Personal data collected on this website is stored on the host's servers. This serves to protect our legitimate interest in a secure and reliable provision of our website (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR).
Server log files
The provider automatically collects and stores information in server log files that your browser transmits automatically: browser type and version, operating system, referrer URL, hostname, time of the request and IP address. This data is not merged with other data sources.
SSL/TLS encryption
For security reasons, this site uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the “https://” in your browser's address bar.
Contacting us
If you contact us by phone, email or WhatsApp, your details will be stored and processed in order to handle your enquiry (Art. 6 (1) (b)/(f) GDPR). When you click the WhatsApp link, the privacy policy of WhatsApp/Meta additionally applies.
Cookies
Our website itself sets no tracking cookies. Our web statistics (see the following section) also work entirely without cookies. When you open the online booking (see below), the service provider may set technically necessary cookies.
Web statistics (Matomo, cookieless)
We use the self-hosted open-source software Matomo to statistically analyse the use of our website (e.g. pages visited, approximate origin, device type and browser). Data is collected without cookies and without cross-site profiles; your IP address is truncated (anonymised) before storage, and raw visit data is deleted after 180 days at the latest. The data remains on our own server and is not shared with third parties. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in privacy-friendly reach measurement (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). No information is accessed on your device within the meaning of Section 25 of the German TDDDG, so no consent is required. If your browser sends a "Do Not Track" or "Global Privacy Control" signal, your visit is not recorded at all. You can also object to the collection at any time using the switch below (Art. 21 GDPR). Your choice is stored only locally in your browser and is never transmitted to us.
Fonts
We embed the font used (Montserrat) locally from our own server. There is no connection to third-party servers (e.g. Google Fonts).
Online booking (DIRS21)
To provide the booking function, a script from DIRS21 GmbH is loaded on our pages. When you use the booking, the data you enter (e.g. travel dates, number of guests, contact details) is transmitted to DIRS21 for processing. The privacy policy of DIRS21 GmbH additionally applies.
Maps / route planning
We do not embed any maps directly. Via the “Plan route” button you are forwarded to Google Maps; from that point on, Google's privacy policy applies.
Your rights
You have the right at any time to information, correction, deletion or restriction of the processing of your data, a right to object and a right to data portability. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.
